“ We chose "Laan 7" to celebrate our mother's birthday with a cozy and delicious dinner. A good choice, as it turned out. We received a friendly welcome, and after checking our COVID certificates (thanks for keeping it safe), we were able to enter the cozy restaurant with an open kitchen. Beautiful colors, soft tones, and a warm fireplace give the restaurant a pleasant atmosphere. We opted for the "Choice Menu" at 52 euros per person. With the aperitif, we were offered a delicious plate of Italian charcuterie and fresh bread. The appetizers were delicious and beautifully presented. The "toatjespap with shrimp and tomato" was a nice and tasty twist on the well-known Eeklo porridge. The "Vitello Tonnato" was also a hit. We were given a moment to let everything settle, after which the main courses were served. My Skreihaasje (fish tenderloin) with shrimp and butter sauce was fantastic. The cod was perfectly cooked and fell apart into beautiful white flakes. The lamb rump with port sauce was also a hit. For dessert, there were several different choices. All beautifully presented and prepared with a little twist. We highly recommend the restaurant. Thank you for an unforgettable, enjoyable, and delicious evening. ”

“ We had a surprise dinner at this beautiful restaurant. We had an incredibly delicious meal. Through the open kitchen, you can see the chef preparing the dishes with heart and soul. And you can taste it too. The balance between the flavors was surprising. You feel like you're in a homey atmosphere. Friendly staff. After the main event, the chef even chatted with us while he continued working on the desserts. A fantastic restaurant! This was certainly a wonderful way to end my birthday. ”

“ The interior is atmospheric, and the tables are not too close together. The kitchen is semi-open. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, offering excellent advice on your choices. The dishes are perfectly prepared, and the portions are certainly ample. The set menu is highly recommended. The only downside is the lack of fully-fledged vegetarian options. If they were available, they should definitely be listed on the menu. It would actually be perfectly suited to a contemporary restaurant like Laan 7. We had a wonderful, relaxing evening and will definitely return. ”
